What great customer service! After installing our unit we noticed that our satellite network wasn't working on the side of the house they installed the pump on, right over the satellite cables. Thinking maybe something got disconnected I called and Marc came over and took care of our concerns right away. These guys are rock stars! Thank you Vortex Heating and Cooling. Heat pump stopped working, called and spoke with Joel, he was very professional and got Mark over to our office the next morning. They diagnosed, ordered a part and fixed the problem as quickly as possible. Throughout the process, Mark was great at staying in touch by calling or texting. The bill was half what we expected. It's a hot summer day, we're sitting at a solid 97° F today. Joel and the team came out to my residents to install an AC unit and my house is now singing "ice ice baby" by Vanilla Ice. It's cold and you would have no idea that a HVAC crew was out here. They cleaned up, vacuumed my downstairs and got rid of all boxes and leftovers.

The initial consultation was much more of a consult (vs a sell). He informed me on why I needed what I needed and what options I had. Many of the "other guys" had legit sales teams who tried to upsell me on everything. All I needed was a cold house and Vortex met that and more. I will now be using Vortex for all of my heating/cooling needs. Period. His pricing is the best and his craftsmanship is similar to Snefru's son, Khufu, known also as Cheops who built the Great Pyramid at Giza. I would anticipate my AC unit will be standing just as long given his quality of work.

There are other larger companies that may try to sell you as they attempted to do with me. Run far, far away. They will try to pride themselves with their union workers, longevity in business and potentially "a summer discount of $150" - don't be fooled. Do yourself a favor and hire Joel and his team if you want a long lasting, well performing, AC or heater.

Joel and Mark and their team did an excellent job installing central air in my furnace and a minisplit in my detached garage. They gave a much better price for doing both at the same time than the other quotes I got, and the install was done quickly and professionally.

They also really went above and beyond in terms of follow up maintenance. I had two issues a few months later, both because of my old furnace and not at all related to the AC install they did. One was the old condensate pump died, the other was an old safety switch part in the furnace being flakey. In both cases they came out same day and took care of the issue very quickly and didn't even charge for it. Highly recommend Vortex and will definitely be using them for repairs and any future upgrades I do.
